Scolio-Pilates Camps are underway and going strong!
The comments below may help you know what to expect when you attend your first Scolio-Pilates Camp. Please let us know how we can help!
For potential campers, I would suggest to have and keep an open mind--this isn't a typical pilates reformer or mat class. Some of the movements are subtle and require mental focus, but your body is doing a lot of work. The intensive work you put in is done in a supportive environment and helps build the foundation to make the exercises a healthy habit in your daily life. And I believe the upside has potentially huge benefits to your physical and psychological health. And, I would restate what I said above in the question about coming back again. -- Anonymous camp review
"It's truly amazing. You have given her such a strong sense of self, self-confidence and the feeling of empowerment and control of her body. It's hard, but she's having fun with it. You make it fun and do-able and have set her up to succeed. You are magic! Thank you!"
Would you attend the camp again? "Yes, I would! The level of personal attention.... the patience, thoughtfulness and teaching delivery of Karena was outstanding!.... she really wanted me to get it and no matter how many times I asked, I felt comfortable to do so.... Karen too, and the other teachers/helpers.... the customized binder.... the good vibe, the open, supportive & friendly environment--all really knocked it out of the park. I didn't know I would laugh as much as I did through the experience. It felt freeing." --Anonymous Camp Review
Did you have a favorite thing about the camp? There isn't just one thing. I really appreciate repeating the adjustments with maybe just one additional tweak to it. It really imprinted the adjustments.
Did you have a favorite thing about the camp? Definitely wrapping up the session with walking-step-by-step through the manual [take home exercise notebook] was a plus. It was better that way as I got more info out of it than if the books were already pre-prepped. --Anonymous camp review
