Anne Ostergren — Alameda, California

Location: Alameda, California

Anne has been teaching Pilates since 2015 and became a Scolio-Pilates Practitioner in 2018 to help support those living with Scoliosis.  She has seen first-hand how Scolio-Pilates can truly make a positive difference in people’s lives and loves to see clients feeling better, standing taller, and growing stronger.

For Anne, exercise has always been a part of the daily routine – not something to dread, but something to look forward to.  She believes exercise should be a positive experience – a habit that creates a strong, coordinated, and mobile body with a mind energized by the sense of accomplishment and stress relief that a great workout or movement experience can bring.

It’s her clients’ increased confidence and ease in movement that really motivates her.  Anne wants her clients to be able to start or keep themselves moving enthusiastically through life.

Anne is a National Certified Pilates Teacher (NCPT) and a Scolio-Pilates Practitioner. As a continual learner, she has completed Madeline Black’s Immersive Movement training and most recently the Polestar Transition Intensive with Shelly Powers.  Anne holds a BA in Social Ecology from UC Irvine and lives in Alameda with her husband and two children.

Authorized Scolio-Pilates® Practitioner since September 2018
