My training as a classical Pilates instructor in 2010 and 2011 laid the foundation for my “new life.” Before that, I worked in the environmental consultancy sector. Since then, I have continued to deepen and expand my knowledge within the beautiful Pilates method. Because I have always been deeply fascinated by fascia, and with it the connection between emotions, the mind, and the experience of pain, I studied craniosacral therapy for a year. From this method, I use techniques that help calm the nervous system. Through that same interest in fascia, the Spinefitter also crossed my path. I am now a certified Spinefitter Educator and train professionals in working with the Spinefitter. In 2021, a friend with scoliosis walked into my studio, barely able to walk because of the pain. Together, we embarked on a meaningful journey because I truly wanted to help her. Today, she is running half marathons again. I am proud to say that since 2025, I may call myself an Authorized Scolio Pilates® Practitioner! The combination of fascia work and the Pilates method has helped me enormously in gaining a deeper understanding of scoliosis. In many ways, everything I have learned comes together here — and I still have so much more to learn. Authorized Scolio-Pilates® Practitioner since 2025.
