I am a fully certified STOTT PILATES® Instructor, and I believe that Pilates is more than simply an accessible form of exercise. When practiced with intention and consistency, it can build strength, improve mobility, balance and posture, and support overall physical and mental well-being, helping us remain resilient and active as we age.
Throughout my teaching career, I have been motivated by the opportunity to share knowledge and help my clients become stronger, move better and feel more confident in their bodies. This passion led me to develop a special interest in spinal health and, in particular, scoliosis.
To deepen my knowledge and better support individuals with scoliosis, I pursued and earned my certification as a Schroth Therapist and became an Authorized Scolio-Pilates® Practitioner. Through personalized, one-to-one sessions, I combine specialized, curve-specific Schroth exercises, which focus on de-rotating, elongating and stabilising the spine in three dimensions, with customized clinical Pilates to improve posture, strength, muscular balance and movement quality, while helping clients better manage their scoliosis and risk of curve progression.
My approach is centered on thoughtful, individualized movement, helping each client move with greater strength, confidence and enjoyment at every stage of life. One of my greatest joys is seeing clients gain a better understanding and awareness of their bodies and curves, improve their posture and movement, and feel more confident in living out their daily lives.
As a former dancer and lifelong dance enthusiast, I bring a sense of fluidity, precision and body awareness into my teaching. I am also an avid yoga practitioner and have undertaken further training in diastasis recti rehabilitation and menopause through the Center for Women’s Fitness.
