Let’s Get Started!
Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Enough space to lie down and stretch your arms
  • Loose fitting clothing
  • A yoga mat is optional
  • Water
  • Your can-do attitude!!

Today we had a special episode on breathing. We looked at three different styles of breathing: Jellyfish breathing, sniff reflex breathing and “Fill and Lift” breathing. We spent some time on the powerpoint looking at an image of what is happening in the ribs with scoliosis. And then I did my (amazing) drawings to help you understand how the diaphragm works to support the spine.  And we talked about the diaphragm not only as a breathing muscles but also as a major stabilizer of the spine.
