This is a very under-served population. For several of our practitioners\, once they begin seeing scoliosis clients\, it becomes the biggest percentage of their clientele. We need more practitioners with a passion for serving this under-served population!\nIs it going to be fun or REALLY fun?\nIt’s going to be REALLY fun! We always have such a great time. The entire journey of becoming an Authorized Scolio-Pilates® Practitioner\, can be just over a year-long process\, but the rewards are great.

DESCRIPTION:Welcome To Scolio-Pilates Module 2\n  \n  \nInstructor: Julie Selwood\, Scolio-Pilates Principal Educator\nDates: 28-29 November 2026\nLocation: Zug\, Switzerland \nTaught in English \nModule 2 builds upon the pre-requisite Module 1\, Scolio-Pilates Professional Seminar. \nWe will dive deeper into understanding the anatomy of scoliosis and use that understanding to define the curves of scoliosis (3\, 4\, and thoracolumbar curves). Once we define the curves we can begin to understand how to correct those curves toward neutral. We use scoliosis-specific corrections and scoliosis-specific exercises to aid us in bringing our clients toward a more balanced system. \nThe scoliosis-specific exercises begin with corrections in the basic positions of prone\, supine\, side-lying\, seated\, and standing. Once the corrections are applied in the basic positions\, we add movement to these corrections either on the mat or with the assistance of the Pilates equipment. Come learn why Scolio-Pilates\, a form of Pilates that allows for modifications to assist the client with scoliosis in the Pilates studio\, is now being used by children’s hospitals\, physical therapy clinics\, and Pilates studios worldwide to help with the management of scoliosis. \nCECs: 16 Continuing education credits from the National Pilates Certification Program (NPCP) \n  \n

SUMMARY:Module 2: Athens\, Greece
DESCRIPTION:Modules can be purchased individually or as a Module 1&2 Bundle\n\nWelcome To Scolio-Pilates Module 2\n  \nInstructor: Karena Thek\, Founder of Scolio-Pilates®\nLocation: In-Person – Athens\, Greece\nDate: 3-4 April 2027\nTime: 9:00am – 6:00pm Eastern European Standard Time (EET) \nPLEASE NOTE: This course is capped at 20 paid students. \n  \nModule 2 builds upon the pre-requisite Module 1\, Scolio-Pilates Professional Seminar. \nCECs: 16 Continuing education credits from the National Pilates Certification Program (NPCP) \n
