Experience scoliosis! Your Introductory Scolio-Pilates Course is designed to be an experiential approach to understanding scoliosis.

Why is the “experience of scoliosis” important? Because three-dimensional correction with Scolio-Pilates is complex. Understanding scoliosis through your own experience, in addition to cognitively, makes it easier.  You will be better equipped to make thoughtful decisions about the exercises you apply versus following a complex series of rules and guidelines.

In your Preparatory Scolio-Pilates Course, you will feel in your own body the changes that occur with scoliosis.  You’ll spend time with hands-on break-out projects that make scoliosis more comprehensible.  And you will be better equipped to take on even more information in the Scolio-Pilates Seminar.

This course is not yet required, but very highly recommended.

Welcome to your Introduction to Scolio-Pilates! This course lays the foundation for the ScolioPilates Seminar. You will receive a strong base in the anatomy of scoliosis to help you understand what is happening to create the changes we see in scoliosis. With this understanding, you will be better equipped to make the best scoliosis specific exercise choices.
